With a long tradition in ammonia – a natural fertiliser, Brotherton have developed close relationships with a number of animal feed companies in the UK. Our product development team have devoted a great deal of time over the last twenty years in the successful production of animal feed preservatives. Along with ammonia solution which is commonly used to convert straw into silage, a more recent product - ammonium sulphamate which is a tree stump herbicide, further demonstrates our bespoke and flexible capability to meet customer specific requirements. Other products such as potassium hydroxide and potassium carbonate solution can be used to provide a potassium source for vineyard applications.
