De-Icer

Brotherton have developed and manufactured a variety of different de-icing products for use on commercial and military aircraft, runways and walkways. They are primarily used at national and international airports but have additional functionality at railway terminals, parking lots and general public areas. Tested and approved to SAE AMS standards, our Safegrip and Ecowing range of products provide a complete all round package for anti-icing and de-icing. Safegrip and Safegrip Plus are potassium acetate based and offer superior anti-icing and de-icing functionality, as well as being non-hazardous and envionmentally friendly. Safegrip FR is potassium formate based and provides additional environmental and technical performance for specific locations. Ecowing is a monopropylene glycol based type II aircraft de-icer Also available are DE 950 and AD 480 - type I and type IV fluids. NAAC a sodium acetate based solid runway de-icer completes this comprehensive range of products.
