Production Facilities

Brotherton's production facilities are geared towards meeting the stringent demands of our customers. Since production is mostly batch rather than continuous, we can offer an extremely flexible and efficient response to customer requirements.

The majority of production equipment comprises jacketed pressure vessels, either stainless steel or glass-lined, with a wide range of capabilities from pilot scale up to 24,000 litres. We also have substantial bulk storage capacity for raw materials and finished products whether as gases, liquids or solids. The majority of bulk stores are stainless steel with capacities of up to 900 tonnes.

The plant is operated 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Shift patterns are monitored closely and can be adjusted to match changes in market demands, especially to meet unexpected needs.

An important part of the operation is our experienced product development team who work closely with customers in the development of new products and improvements in process technology. This focus ensures that we supply our customers with the products they want in the most cost-effective way. Brotherton has grown substantially over the last 20 years and progress will continue through investment in and development of its core technologies. Our aim is to provide outstanding service and long term supply security to our customers.
